I remember somebody saying it came off of a F-15 fighter jet but my memory is failing me. I bought it at a General Dynamics surplus sale 30 years ago. It comes with a cradle it sits in. I've been holding on to it forever, I havent found a use for it yet. It sits at my business, it's an attention getter, it draws folks off the highway and into the shop. Somebody tried stealing it last month but it wouldnt fit in their vehicle, I found it in the middle of the paring lot the next morning... It measures 21 ft. long x 3 ft. wide.

That's not a fuel cell. It's a drop tank.

Thank you. After looking up drop tanks on Google and typing in F-15 drop tank I was able to find the information I was looking for.
