Which of the 3 serials should I use for SF97?

The tractor I got has not just two serials, it has 3!!!! As with my other BMY I can't find a serial on the frame next to the steering box as I've been told.

The tractor obviously was a M932A2 as it has the winch controls, PTO, hydraulic tank ect, only thing missing is the winch, bumper extensions and hoses to the winch.
It has 31/001XX on the black plate, 32/001xx on the data plate, and 33/001xx on the rebuild plate!!!!! What would you use? As it was obviously a M932A2 before the rebuild I'm leaning toward 32/001xx.......

Do all three numbers end with the same numbers?

I would look on the drivers frame behind the steering box. If it went thru rrad it should have the serial stamped there. You will need to remove any incorrect number plates prior to dmv seeing the truck or it will create an issue.

Would you mind posting a pic of exactly where it's at please? I can't find a serial on either of my BMY's.

frame numbers.jpgRight between the steering box and the brake lines coming off the frame. They will be in block numerals left to right hand stamped. The smaller machine stamped numerals are part numbers. I have several trucks and only my rebuilt trucks have the serial stampings on the frame. I believe at rebuild when the trucks are dissassembled the frame is stamped to avoid mixups.

My 932a2's VIN is higher up on the frame than Suprman's but in the same general location, on the driver side frame rail. It matches the "vehicle serial number" listed on the data plate on dash.
