Do you guys think something like these mirrors may work?

United Pacific 60027 Stainless Steel 7" X 16" West Coast Heated Mirror With Convex Mirror

Mine are hard to see anything in. Looks like overspray or oxidation.

Yes. Military mirrors are mostly west coast style. Found at any truck parts place.

Unitruck mirrors have wider angle view and available with heaters

Just a thought, have you tried cleaning the glass with a lime away type product? Often the haziness is hardwater buildup and stubborn dirt. Phosphoric acid will gently resolve this buildup and not scratch the glass. Be careful on painted surfaces and do not use an abrasive cleaning pad as this might scratch the glass. I always start with this type of glass cleaning first. Best bang for buck.

In my opinion LMTV mirrors are horrible. Such s narrow view for a big wide blind side. Why i like the wide unitruck units. It's a big difference

Adding a blind spot detection system would be pretty easy or if you have a 4 camera system just mount one over there

Fair enough. I have as of now not yet driven my M1083. Getting closer.

What model number do you like? I looked at their site and could not find one that was bigger than 7x16”

It looks like they have a little curve to them. Do they make it hard to judge distance?

Did you still want a bubble mirror for blind spots?

You might want a spot mirror. Mine are not bad to judge distance. It is a little hard to square up on a trailer sometimes though
