I searched and all I could find was to switch to a push button for glow plugs. The only problem is I already have. The timer seems right about 10 sec in 30 degree weather. It turns on then after 10 sec shuts off then comes on a minute later and stays on. ??????

hobie237 is right, if your truck is over 120 000 miles. Electronics are of poor reliability. But pay attention, these plugs are SIX SECOND PLUGS, the buzzer is set to 6 to 7 seconds for in the electronic card there are some registors which limit the power to the glow plugs by a very little to make them surviwe.

After 15 years with a M1009
with regards

so pretty much if it continues just remove the bulb. The only reason I like it is when you shut it off and restart later.
