Yet another steering wheel question. Solved
I have read through the forum and found out that an A-2 steering wheel will fit an A-1 but not vice-versa. My problem is a little more basic, (read smaller).
When I bought my 151A-1, I drove it home, about 100 miles, no problems. Now that I'm taking things apart for painting and such, I found out the steering wheel had NO nut holding it on, just rust. Lots of rust, I had to soak it in liquid wrench and heat it to get it off.
Can anyone tell me exactly what size and thread pitch I need to find? It's about 5/8 and a fine thread, but none of my dies are big enough to check it.
Problem has been solved, it's a 5/8 x 18 Jam Nut.
