M146 ladders?

Has anyone seen ladders for the 146's? And why are there so many tabs on the sides of the trailer? Is it for some kind of deck?
It seems like the tabs under the side door are in the wrong place for a ladder, I know I have one of the alum ladders w/ round hooks propped on the tabs and it is a pain. You have to back down the ladder to open or close the door.
I'll prob build a deck next to the trailer w/ steps coming up from the rear, it'll be way easier to open and close the door.
What is everyone else doing?

The tabs are so you can safely work on the blackout shutters and windows. As far as the ladder and the side door, the ladder is not very wide and moving it would leave the part of the opening without a step. The position is a good compromise, people in the military are used to performing convoluted steps to simple tasks.:-D

Now if you need a ladder, the best place to start is the Brothers out in Fontana, I got two ladders for my 146 from them. The ladders are the same as the M-109. Good luck on the Mods for a platform, I thought about doing something similar (like a ship gangway).

It seems that the oem ladder for the m146 would be about 2" wider than the m109 ladder because of course the ladder mounting tabs are spaced that much wider,i have looked for the 2" wider fantom ladder for a year now and haven't even seen one,i think the ladder mounting tabs that are spread out around the trailer are for servicing the windows via a ladder.
I have added a mounting tab at the side door to accommodate the narrower m109 ladder and just hang the rear door ladder over the i beam that's present, i wish i could find the correct ladders for this thing!

If that's the case I stand corrected. I got two ladders that fit in the tabs perfectly, I thought the seller told me they got them off a 109 but I could be wrong. If I knew the ladders were so hard to come by I would never have sold my 146.

What is the correct measurement for the ladder width on a 146?

From the outside of the slot to the outside of the next slot is just under 21", the ladder on the She Beast is 18".
