I have a complete 6.2 motor from head to toe. I have recently bought a Borg Warner T3 that was for an 6.5, a new electric fuel pump, 6.5 exhaust manifolds, Flowmaster crossover pipe (modified and tucked),complete exhaust from turbo back(runs outside of frame custom made wrapped in dei heat wrap), 6.5 Intake and Plenium,S&B air box, 6.5 Engine cover, flex plate, torque convertrer, new glow plugs. The Motor has 43,xxx miles, i put the turbo kit on less then 6 Months ago and the ip pump has went out i believe cause its surging for fuel. Now it want crank and it spends freely but want crank. It makes a clunk sound. I have invested alot of money in this truck and am tired of stuff going wrong. I am pulling the motor and putting in a sbc crate motor, something i know. Selling motor as is $2000obo. Will be pulling motor out Saturday

In my opinion this is an acceptable thread.

The Title says nothing about "for sale" or "wanted"

He talks about his truck/engine.

And as a side note he says it is for sale.

Doghead has advised many people to do it this way. The old rules allowed this but the new rules don't address it.

Time to call in the refs

Maybe it wouldn't look like a classified ad if he titled it installing SBC in my truck , instead of listing the parts that are for sale in the title.

No it's not acceptable to advertise something for sale in the open forums. If it had been something along the lines of the OP starting a thread about an engine swap. Then mentioned that he would sell the engine, that would be acceptable. But this reads like a classified.
