We are expecting a big snowstorm in the Denver area for the next two days. It started snowing down here in Franktown, CO (30 miles SE of Denver) which is at 6700" and will normally get twice as much as downtown Denver. It started snowing here on Thursday at 4PM. I had been given a entire set of 11x20 tire chains for a truck tractor and decided to put them on and try them out in the upcoming storm. I’ll send some after pictures later tomorrow. Looking for 18-24" down here. If they don't plow the roads right away like normal I plan on laying tracks so those in the neighborhood with 4x4's can get around or out of the neighborhood. I have a new respect for those truckers who travel on I-70 in the Rockies west of here who have to chain up. Those dually chains weigh close to 90 lbs and not the easiest or quickest thing to do.
