A housemover down the road from me has a running, driving 94 Chev extended cab 1 ton dually with flatbed for sale for $800. Manual trans, 4x2, has water in the oil (cracked block?). Shows 75,000 miles. Turbo 6.5. Body and tires are fair. Should I buy this for a CUCV turbo donor and part out the rest? I hate parting out running trucks.

Are you sure the water in the oil is just not a blown head gasket or cracked oil cooler. May be a perfectly good engine. I would definitely get it and check it out.

rick your correct i would check that out but that is about as much work as finding out that you have a blown head gasket as finding out you have a cracked block

my phone don't like PUNCTUATION so i aint going to use it rofl
I would urge you to reconsider your position on punctuation. At least re-read the rules so you aren't taken by surprise by the actions taken by the moderators.

Maybe it is just because I am old but I had one **** of a time reading that last post. I had to read it several times. I guess it all makes sense to the texting generation but not me. My phone makes and receives calls, that is all it does. I have texted on occasion and I do take the time to punctuate. Yes it is a pain but.............................
