Curious if anybody else is running a Spartan locker in their truck? Since this is a relatively new product, I'm just wondering if anybody else has had a ny good or bad experiences with the Spartan. People in the rock crawling world seem to like them better than the detroits.
I have had the chance to use mine (just around my property) and initial impressions are good; I only have 1 in the front axle right now, but I'll drop a second one in the front tandem this weekend. For details on the install, go here:

I have run just about every brand and style of limited slip, locker, spool, etc. in many vehicles, but this is my first locked up Deuce. It seems to work perfectly...in fact, much better than with smaller and lighter vehicles. Less unnecessary engagement, quieter (although maybe I just can't hear the clicking and bangs over the LDT). The price is excellent too; with a little shopping around, you can find them for around $400 delivered. I got mine from Low Range Off Road: One Stop for Suzuki and Toyota Off Road Parts
I wanted to get some run time with 2 of them in my deuce first, but I may switch to ARB's in the future (not because I dislike the Spartans, but because I really like selectable lockers on a truck that sees street miles). I'll make that call after I have a year or so on the Spartans in the rear axles.
