Will an EMP take out our generators?? I've seen some boards in the control panel and I was wondering about 'hardening' it for insurance sake!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Yes the electronics are inside a steel box but that box is grounded to the unit therefore it will conduct the emp burst/wave through the unit and the electronics. My 003A is on a trailer ( isolated from ground ) and in a steel barn ( buffer ) but I also have it hooked to a ( separate from the building ) ground rod and have all poles grounded together ( see pic ) kinda over kill but what the heck its not like I run it everyday...or month
"Commissioned" by whom?you asked !!!!
(gozilla proof) emp document , ive got a newer one ,will have to look for it
Since an EMP travels line of sight, would an aluminum covered building (grounded) act as a faraday box?
I am. It can be had for a reasonable price, too. I have too many projects right now.I see you're one of the "lucky" ones to have the ASK for the MEP-003a
