vic1 switch question

Hey gang,

I'm working on mounting my VIC-1 radio. I want to mount this switch to the upright of my soft top. Any idea how to get this snap thingy out without damaging the unit?

I have some pics I've downloaded showing a similar mounting so I know it's doable.

I drilled mine out and removed it and mounted it up.
