Heater core leaking

My '93 A3 is leaking a little antifreeze onto the passenger floor, how do I fix it?

Remove and replace. It's covered in the TM.

And, it is far, far easier than the one I did one my crappy 94 Geo Metro beater car yesterday - that took four hours and involved removing the dash.

I had to fact check that for myself. After reading several accounts posted online, I do agree. It seems to be 2-3 times worse. Very poor design.

I've never understood why the heater cores are so hard to get to on civilian vehicles. On most vehicles you can replace a engine about as easy as you can replace a heater core.

I drove right by you with a new heater in my pickup Sunday, and the seat you needed. I visited Ross and came back after dropping some goodies there. I could not find our PMs. My organizational skills suck at best lately. I have just been swamped. Glen
