Dumb newbie with questions....

just bought a 1980? M35a2 that has been bobbed. With anything, it has a few bugs that need to be worked out. At the moment, tring to figure out the headlight wiring. I have looked through the TM's, and didnt find any wiring diagrams. I'm sure they're in there, I just missed them. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Brakes are an issue also. Turning 53" tires, shes not gonna stop on a dime, but sometimes I wonder when she's gonna stop... really hate to run over someone. I found some of the brake stuff in a TM, so I'll get after them shortly. I would like to know how or what I'm gonna need (exactly) to build my own pressure bleeder.

Clutch is gonna be swapped out in a week or so also... great advice already found on it.

If I can figure out how to post pics, I will.

I would like to know how or what I'm gonna need (exactly) to build my own pressure bleeder.

You'll need a cheap 1 gallon garden sprayer from your local hardware store. I used about 3 feet of 1/4" nylon hose rather than the hose that came with the sprayer.

Some small spring clamps for the hose.

1/4" barb to 1/4" NPT fitting

Fittings to go from 1/8" NPT to 1/4" NPT

An air line coupler set (male and female) like used on 99% of the air compressors sold today (Usually 1/4" NPT)

Spare master cylinder cap from a junked duece somewhere (not necessary, but handy to have because it saves you from having to remove the vent from your cap all the time to hook up the bleeder you can just replace the cap to bleed)

Attach hose to sprayer, put fitting in hose and attach female air line coupler. Put male coupler half in spare master cylinder cap with 1/8" to 1/4" NPT adapter. That's about it. Put fluid in the sprayer, put cap on master cylinder and pump until you have a few PSI of pressure. While bleeding, DO NOT allow pressure to run out and DO NOT run out of fluid in the sprayer...easy

thanks gents, New problem came up. I went to get fuel, shut her off, filled her up, started her, idled around the building, and she died. the engine spins over, but no fire. tried ether just to see if she would start, nothing. Now th eclutch is shot, and she has to be moved b4 the store closes, or it gets towed.
