Axle U-bolt Replacement

If you look at the first pict of the bearing in the rag you can see a slot on the inside for the keyway that is in the assembly shaft to keep the bearing from rotating. Got new
u-bolts today, $53.00 for 4 of them made at the truck repair.
 
$200.00 for a set of U-bolts....your getting robbed. I'd keep looking.

Does that deal come with a kiss? Dinner and a movie? Some kinda lube?
Take a look at 4-Wheel parts and see how much they want. Last I saw of U-bolts, they were usually around $27 to $37 a pair not too long ago and I can't see the price going up that much.

Fortunately, I ventured forward and found Oregon Spring Company in Portland will make me a new set of four (4) (for the rear springs, not the fore) for $88 for all four. (just wanted to see how many times I could use 4 in the sentence). Thanks yall for the "feedback" on pricing :lol: It pays to shop around.
