I think you're only the second person on SS who has covered their wrecker in the "factory" way-I think we have a UK member with an 816 who had the right cover on his.

Probably not a bad idea just to keep the cables dry and the hoses from rotting (further).

If it looks "factory" it was by accident, by chance I figured out that deuce bows and staves were just wide enough and tall enough to work, and I threw an old torn deuce cover over it. The cover should be a little longer but it covers almost everything, so it will work. And yeah I did it to keep the weather off of it.

Well, I finally tried out the hydraulics on her today. The front winch PTO did not want to engage with the engine running, sounded like grinding gears, so I engaged with the engine off then started it. The actuator for the wind/unwind was frozen, but with a little wd-40 and some light taps with the hammer, I got it moving. So, the front winch works. The rear hydraulics, when I engage the PTO the engine comes up on RPM on its own as it should, I shift the trans into 1-5 but I was not getting hyd power to anything. Upon further inspection and TM research I find that the PTO shift cable is nowhere to be found, so I need one if anybody knows where to find one. But, for now I'm going to make something temporary just so I can test the rear hydraulics.

I'd like to see more pics of the truck in general. I don't think I have gotten to climb around on one of these newer ones yet.

These are the parts we need. No NSN listed but here are the pics. On pic 1 the cable we need is #23, pic 2: #3 is the end of the cable and #5 is the bracket that was missing.
