Got off to a good start BUT we won’t be towing the car behind the truck. Our ’96 Crown Vic isn’t in good enough shape to trust and my ’69 Bronco is far, far from able to make another big trip. When my wife picked the car, she rented a Jeep Liberty and it can’t be towed on a dolly because of the automatic transmission.
We loaded up all the stuff and got a start at 4:00 PM Friday.
I am taking 4 batteries, 2 from my deuce, one from the Crown Vic, and 1 from the Bronco as well as a 12 volt charger and jumpers so that I can arrange them in paralled for charging.
I also hve a set of 24 volt magnetic stick-on lights with a miliary-civilian adapter, an air hose with a glad-hand to pump tires off the truck and LOTs of tools, including 2 20 ton jacks.
