Kickdown adjustment.

I've been paging through the TM's and don't see anything on the kickdown cable adjustment. Is it listed under something else? Is the adjustment in that little box just above the trans pan on the left side of the vehicle? My 923 up shifts way to quick and doesn't down shift going up hill.

It's called "modulator and cable". See the adjustment sections of TM 9-2320-272-24-1, Volume 1, page 3-398 AND TM 9-2320-272-23-3, WP 0365, (page 0365-1).

I believe it controls fluid pressure the more it is screwed in towards the front of the vehicle the harder it shifts and the higher the shift point. PM member carlo he knows some about this adjustment
