I would think to am extent but i believe the M1008 is a bit longer than the M1009 when it comes to the exhaust pipe. Otherwise I would be inclined to say yes they should be interchangeable.

If it is, it would need to be shortened a little, and I'm not sure about how the section between the manifolds and the muffler is routed. I don't see why you couldn't use the section of the exhaust that goes over the axle and tailpipe. I think it could be more trouble than it's worth.

What exactly do you need to do with it? If you just have a few rotted tubes to replace, I'd either take it to a muffler shop and have them weld new pipe in, or buy replacement parts from Walker brand exhaust

A quick look at the parts TM should answer this.

I did look at the TM and a parts catalog or two. The numbers are different but they are really close in looks. I was just wondering if anyone had made the attempt. The reason I am asking is I came across a brand new exhaust for a 1008 for cheap, but it ain't cheap if I can't use it on my 1009 without a lot of work.
