Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Hey, speaking thereof, are you guys bringing the mule in October? That's alot mo' betta than Doc's!!!
I've done a lot more extreme drifting than was on the video. If I had known they were filming when I came on the asphalt, I would have really laid it outInteresting to see a 114 drifting around the corner.
I went to a garage sale Saturday morning and bought an M114.....tow cable along with 4 water cans and a couple other items such as pioneer tools. Why can't I ever win the lottery?

I bet that 427 does sound good! The 6.0L (366ci) is the largest we've put in a M114, and we just about had to stomp it in at thatOne of the 113's at the D-Day Park has a 427 in it. It sounds nice!
The cable is yours! That would work on my M548.Hold on to it.
The Resurrection video was another one of our projects too. The M114 ARV didn't field too well for any number of reasons, depending on who you ask. Less than 3500 were ever built and were all phased out of inventory by the early 80's. The good news is that a few handfuls made it to civy hands pretty much intact where others had the upper hulls cut off and was made into tracked utility vehicles...some are even in service today with power companies and forestry departments. There are also a few in police fleets around the US while others had made it into foreign hands (I'd imagine they were hurting pretty bad for armor if they bought these things)youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=KzJ4Qgg7VX4
Might be a good watch as well. But now I am wondering what the M114 is, I know the M113 but is the 114 an updated version of the 113 or another design entirely?.
But I sure would like one of those toys, but it guess it has a really sucky mileage
Thank you. I thought I'd add a youtube link to the video as well. I tried to edit the first post but didn't see any option to do it...That last video was great.
