How to make CUCV wheel chock for your 5 Ton

Many of us loose our wheel chocks and and easy fix is to create a tether so they don't get lost. These are easy steps

1. Purchase 1" manilla rope from 3DAngus
2. Cut 12' lengths plus 3' extra for splicing on each end
3. Splice in loops approximately 8" in diameter
4. Install on pintle hitch

Now your wheel chock is always nearby and available when you need it.

I know I should have tied them knots better - those were attached to the M909 to have the CUCV as its wheel chock

OK, so how do you splice in those loops. I gotta do that with a few myself, for other reasons.
If there is a specific name for it, maybe I can look up the technique on the internet.
