Loose wheel-nut indicators OliveDrab anyone?

just as a fyi, I have pictures of them on my build thread right and left facing.

The green does not stand out as bad as you think.

Also for those who take the plunge, They are mounted with the flag off the rim maybe 1/4 off the face of the wheel, not flush with it as I installed them wrong upside down on the first few wheels.

I am in for a set. Black is fine. I can paint the tips a more noticeable color using Krylon Fusion paint. I have seen how good that paint is on plastic.

Yes that's what I meant. One moves its immediately obvious. And they are paintable.

Then why bother getting a special colour - OD, black or what ever.... Looks like this thread just went into a tail spin... We can all go out and get the lime green 'civi' ones and paint them.......

Personally, I am not "there yet" with painting plastic. Not to be trusted. I have only just accepted cordless drills!

I found a good deal on Ryder Fleet products. $39.15 for 60 of the Lime Green shipped. They sell them in lots of 20.

I think they would sell here on ss as they are not available at most parts store. I would rather have had a choice before I got mine. It seems with the flood of 5 tons, these would sell.

The 1 1/2 fits deuces, m105, m200, all flavors of 5 ton etc and many more trailers and mv I am probably missing. Quite a market just in ss land not to mention I saw none listed on epay at all.

My color choice would be OD green #1 or black #2

Check epay again, but use the search term "nut indicators". More than 260. But they are all from UK. I would buy a set if they were OD.

The ones I got from Ryder are cheaper and are in the USA.
