What is wrong with pic loading?

I have tryed 4 times and locked my PC up and loose eveything I have typed trying to open a new thread. I can post only what pic's are in that little box. I have closed out SS and reopened with log in, I give up.

Please give me a screen shot, as I'm not following what you're saying. Have you tried going advanced to get the old style uploader window? (There's nothing on the site that should cause your PC to lock)

This is selected: Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing Other options are - Basic Editor and Standard Editor

I'm using WYSIWYG under FF 26.0 with no ad ons with no problem.

Version 26 with no add ons that I know of, it said no add ons at least. But I did recently install Kaspersky which I'm starting to regret.

I fixed it. It is Kaspeksky. I went and added Steelsoldiers as a trusted URL and it quick creating flags when every page loads and it has given me the quick buttons back. Thank you for the help patracy.

That's the problem right there. They still have the site flagged from last week under the clientscripts folder.

I have opened a thread with 3 pic's, down in lower right of the box in light print (1 of 5 pages) had to load all 500 pics to choose the ones i needed.

I am unable to do a screen shot right now, need a memory card. The box with the pic's in it, top right "home" bottom left "attachments" just above attachmenta is ( in light print") page 1 of 5 << < > >> All of my 492 pic's are in these 5 pages and I have to go through all of them to post pic's now.

I can do a great deal of things, but visualizing something I've never seen before given the number of possibilities is very hard.

You say memory card? Are you not using your PC? If you're using a mobile device, are you using the internal browser or tapatalk?

I use a camera,take a pic of the screen and post it. I am a redneck.

I was unaware of the "manage attachment" option, thanks. It seems to be the only way it works for me now. I am running Firefox 24.0 (with Ghostery and NoScript) on 64-bit Linux Mint Debian Edition (gnome 3.4.2)

Clicking the image icon up top of the "WYSIWYG" editor will allow a pop up window to happen. From that window, you'll see a button to click browse. That will allow you to browse you locale files. Once you have the image you wish to upload selected by clicking on it, it will take you back to the same screen. Just click on the upload files text below it to confirm. Sorry but this is how it will work due to Yahoo and vBulletin's dropping of the uploader script.

I know this was an old issue and I figure it's resolved but,
Right now I'm not able ti insert photos. I can upload them and they show as attachments but won't insert.
Do we have something going on, or is it at my end?
