I will drive it from point A to point B, would be a REAL PTSD stress reliever.

Was wondering who would be the most reasonable to move a main battle tank? It weighs 62ton and is 12' wide.
Thanks
Danny

With so many variables, how could you possibly expect a correct/useful answer? Seriously.

First question is condition of the the tank? Does it run and move under its own power? If not can if be towed? Does the turret and gun need to be moved to transport.

Second question how far is it going? If it is going on the road permits will be required for weight and width.

Third are the pick up and drop off locations accessible to a really large semi.

Second hand info to boot, Are you just telling people you know someone who has a Tank ? Or have you been asked to get a quote to move it. Now just sayin, But it seems you still don't have any info, Half way across the country tells us nothing again. So my question is if you have been asked to get such info... , Are you going to accept the advice from a guy off an internet site on how much, how to, and to do it ? Are you going to send a deposit to some like that , if so I can throw you a number :) Moving large equipment is done all day long across this nation. Sorry but your question is , well kinda silly :) all good intentions here :)

Without knowing the details it is hard to figure the best or most cost effective way to transport the tank.

The regulations, escort and route mapping, and permits vary by state.

Your shipping options include rail and barge in addition to trucking.

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of companies that move loads of this size routinely.

You have a recommendation for one company without any details.

There are at least a half dozen companies that I can think of off the top of my head that are based in Southern California can move it.

It needs to move from Cali to Oklahoma. It is a Main battle tank. 12' wide 9'6" tall and 35' oal. Weighs 62 ton.
Just looking for some company's that have good recommendations.
My friend asked if their we're any threads on here where people had mentioned company's they had good luck with.

Might try to find out what company is moving the Littlefield collection and see what they can rate since that collection is moving all the way across country.

And try to find out what company they used who ran through the guardrail twice, might not want to use them.

62 tons? I am guessing a M60, can't help with the move but I have a bit of driving experience once you get it to oklahoma,

Gross weight of a M60A1 is closer to 53Tons.
Military tank hauler and a civilian outfit pictured below.

Civilian carrier would have to obey bridge weight laws much closer.
