I have a M925A0 and i need to rotate my tires so i was looking in my tech manual 9-2320-272-20-2 dated 10-1985 and it list the lug nut torque as 450 to 500 foot pounds for the M925A0 and A1.
Now for the problem, i crossed checked the lug nut torque against the latest tech manuals and came across a conflict. The new tech manual 9-2320-272-23-3 dated 9-2012 list the torque at 325 to 350 foot pounds for the M925A0 and 450 to 500 foot pounds for the M925A1 and A2.
So my question is this, which tech manual do i go by, do i torque my lug nuts to 450 foot pounds per the old manual, or do i torque them to 350 foot pounds per the new manual?
Just a little more info, my truck has the G177 11X20 Goodyear tires not the old NDCC tires or the newer Super Singles.
