He didn't give me a ticket or anything just told me to turn them off and put amber lenses on instead of the clear. I don't see why I can't run them though...... After 2 weeks ago some cutting me off and brake checking me and people pulling out in front of me all the time.

I'm constantly amazed at how many people pull out in front of me in the Deuce.... I've even had them get scared and stop halfway out! They do it to me in the Land Rover also and it sits 7 foot high and the headlights plus amber halo's on the off road lights are on all the time!!

Well I just talked to a buddy who is a cop and I guess I'm in the wrong. I can't just run them to run them. The only time that warrants me to run them is on the highway where I can't do the speed limit. Plus the clear lenses have to go. If the cop wants to be a dick about it i could be faced with a $500 fine minimum.

Yeah i knew the front axle was a 1410 but I need the u joints for the rear driveshaft from transfer case to front drive axle.

I still haven't forgotten about that oil. If you can give me a few more weeks maybe I'll be able to bring the deuce to get it.

So I spent the day pressure washing everything the truck is now ready for reassembly. The whole front end and underneath of the truck and rear frame rails were all pressure washed. I also got a knuckle today from a great guy. So I'm all set I just need the axle lock washers and waiting on a brake line so I can bleed all the lines.
Might help...

Stripped the front and rear bumpers and all but finished the black painting. I still have some to do up in frame rails in the back and turn signals and stuff under the hood but not much. Also took the deuce to the fireworks saturday night and we all sat in the back it was a good time. Also mounted my cb too works great.

So i got the snorkel done on the truck and switched back to a 4" stack. I welded it all together at home with my Lincoln 140 amp mig but I should have did it at work with the tig. Oh well it turned out good.

I also decided a few things this week. I don't think I'm going to paint the truck till next spring or this fall. I'm not very happy with my m105 bed as it's pretty rotted out. I have a m105 I'm going to try and get in the next couple months from the guy I bought the truck from so I'm hoping the bed is nicer then mine. Plus then I'll have extra springs for the truck. I figure why waste money and paint on a bed that's beyond repair and I still want to extend the cab as well which I plan on doing this fall after the fall rally. I still have alot of work on the truck but it's mostly a bunch of little things. Right now I'm enjoying my truck and driving it almost everyday.

Ok got my cargo cover on today and it looks so good. I'm so happy with it. I can thank jcappeljr for the cover. Great guy to deal with. I love the way the truck looks now. Much more complete. I've also decided to stay camo. I'm going to order some rapco spray cans in the next few weeks and start painting the body. I also added a platform for full bed and i got a 5 ton toolbox to hang on hang on the truck where the spare tire was. Just a small update....

Yeah it turned out good. When I do the extended cab and cut the front off the m105 bed I'll be putting the fuel tank in the bed and another 5 ton box where the fuel tank was.

Ok, why not be like the rest of society and put the other toolbox in the bed and leave the fuel tank where it is? Why do I feel like we already discussed this? (Scratches head)

Well jeepsinker cause I'm different and I really don't want to smash my fuel tank. A tool box is ok a $200 to $400 fuel tank is bad ha.

Thanks rustystud. Still a long way from done.

Fuel tanks are frequently put in the bed.
