Just purchased 1971 deuce, the driver door glass is cracked, purchased a new complete window frame, seen two clips on the bottom of the frame to be removed. This disables the crank (i removed clips). Question is I can lift the window up but still will not lift out of the door,what holds the window from being completing removed out of the door? thanks

So there are some stops on the very bottom (near where the regulator clips on to the bottom of the frame) that are held on with phillips head screws. Once those and the clips are off, it should lift out through the top of the door but sometimes they get hung on the weatherstripping on the way out.
