Subarus are awesome! I have an 07' Forester 5 speed, limited slip center and rear diffs, and last year with no TPS/TRAC/VSC stuff. That car goes better in snow with bald summer tires than most 4wd's I've owned. It always amazes me how well balanced that car drives and how easy it is to work on. I'm toying with the idea of getting a Toyota R trans conversion bellhousing and making a Suby into a 4wd with Sami or Yota axles.

Good luck with your Cuck!

So I searched high and low for a seal kit for my inector pump. I finally found one! My pump is a DB2-4126 and needs Standyne part number 24370

Finding Subaru parts is so much easier!

Here is a picture for your enjoyment

That is awesome!

I would consider myself a seasoned mechanic and not afraid to tear into an auto trans or do internal engine work. I personally would farm out my IP work to a Stanadyne dealer. Its one of those things where it pays to just let the expert do the work. I've R+R'd mine and even pulled the top cover plate off to adjust the fuel screw. Anything further than that I would recommend someone that does it professionally just for peace of mind. Just my two cents.

I'm a stubborn one though. I have to try and fail before I farm out the work.

On another note.....my starter cracked in half. Time to find a new starter. I can get a Delco-Remy through Autozone or $103 but it is special order (of course)

In half? Like right through the center(steel housing)?

If just the nose cone broke, that is replaceable and that is the best option.

If AZ has the for that price and they are OEM (24 volt), I'd like to get a few of them.

I started getting a knocking sound from the bell housing area. The cone broke off and is bouncing around in there....and the bolt hole towards the center of the vehicle, there is a big ol crack coming from it going diagonal across the body of the starter. It is about 2 inches long.

It is OEM. The guy is matching Amazons price for me.

Probibly not Delco-Remy at that price. Trust but verify. ;-)

Get a new nosecone and fix your own.

Be sure to install the thrust washer on the shaft.

All parts are listed in the parts TMs.

The rules specifically say NOT to high jack other peoples threads. You are very blatantly breaking that rule.
