M1008 Front Shocks questions

Which ones do you recommend for a bone stock 85 M1008 ?

The yellow gas magnums is all I would install on the trucks. Very good heavy duty. I also installed them on my deuces.

I've never used them but have looked at them a lot and they get great reviews.

If you are looking at shocks for
Lifting the truck procomp has some that are adjustable coil overs that can provide up to 2.75 inches of lift. I don't know if they fit these trucks though but i have seen these types of shocks for these trucks before.

I have read that you can install rears also on the front to have a minor more travel...Is this correct or they dont fit ?

Lower mounting bolts are a different diameter and the front have a longer vulcanized sleeve. That could be made up with washers. Personally, I see no gain in using rears on the front of a stock truck.
