I recall when GL sold these out of Red River Depot about 3-4 years ago. I remember them bringing around $1000 ea. At the time, nobody had a use for them. There were about 30 or so of them.

There's a new version of the HIMARS cab that doesn't look close to that anymore. But, I thought these were cooler. Plus, they look very similar to the MLRS cabs.

There was one on fleabay for a longtime but I couldn't bring myself to give them what they were asking. It looks good, keep us posted with pictures as you do this project. It'll be sweet.

All FMTV cabs should be interchangeable. There may be some minor changes between the S&S and the Oshkosh version, but this cab is old enough it may be a S&S cab.

The cab was built by Lockheed martin and originally fitted for the S&S. It has a type of DuPont Kevlar lining called mpact. It protects against shrapnel and light small arms fire. The cab itself without the missile guidance equipment is actually lighter than the regular cab on a standard truck. It has a commanders hatch on the top. Just found a company that makes this grab bar with a pintle mount attachment for a scissor mount. image.jpg
