It makes the truck less military more custom. Painting cherry is a sin so i couldnt paint it. Oak would nice with a light stain.

Looking good drivebymashing! I now have the troop seat hardware, just need to choose what material to put on them. It will likely be oak, but not sure if I want to go the natural wood color or paint it to match the truck.

Here's a pic of what my troop seats look like now. All chain sawed up...

I used the Behr 34052 (Marine forest green) from Home Depot. Guess we'll see how it holds up.

You might want to try Home Depot, the plastic deck boards, 5 1/2 wide 12ft long, cut down the middle and sand the cut side round, place wood grain out, won't rot, also makes good bow material!

Only took 4 months finally finished the pass side seat is a little darker it has been outside since january the drivers has been inside until today.
