Here is a picture of previously mentioned MRAP bumper hanging in front of my M925A2. I think it looks good. I just have to fabricate mounts and re-work the center section to match the original winch bumper. The tube brush guard was an earlier addition to the original bumper and will like transition to the new bumper.

Got the slightly modified MRAP bumper installed. Using the original mounts as templates except the front edge was extended 3/8 inch, I made new mounts out of thicker metal. I did this for strength and so I could retain the original mounts should the desire to return back ever arises. The bumper is stout as the back is 11/16 material and the top is 1/2 inch and there are numerous 1/2 inch partitions within the bumper. I am now trying to source white lights for the openings with the thought that since the opening is angled, it will provide additional lighting for maneuvering in the dark when switched on.

I provide the port and starboard 3/8" thick steel drops and the two Star Gussets.
You have a licensed master welding contractor fit it up and weld it
all up. You supply the 16,000 Lbs receiver. All parts are CAD
designed and cut w/ a water jet cutter, 4 parts. A little over $400
for the 4 parts. NOT a job for the meek. Each truck is a little different
and things must be "fit" properly. You must weld the drops to
the bumperettes. PM if you want, I designed for my M925A1, you
figure it out if it will fit your truck. All sales final. To date, nothing
but happy campers...

Thanks IGM. It is a much more aggressive looking bumper and is built well. If you end up with one, you will join the Southern MRAP bumper club as there will be one running around in Georgia and one in North Carolina before long. I will watch for one on GL here in Oklahoma City which is where I got mine.

Hey, I resemble that quote!

Instead of bumpers, I'm thinking of fitting pontoons on my truck...we've had 2 weeks of straight rain, and now with this hurricane inbound, they are predicting 10" of rain in 24hrs...I literally can't move my truck from where it's parked without trenching my front yard because it's almost to the point of liquefaction...

You're blowing our cover. It was sposed to be a covert club that was only rumored to exist from hushed words spoken in the shadows. We don't even have the official handshake designed yet.

We've had a lot of rain here too, and despite the liqui...lique...yeah that, I've made some progress. Not as much as I'd like, but I hope to be done with the welding tonight...pending the hurricane and any other crazy weather events.

Hey look...it's raining again as I type.
*Sigh*
