K&N E-1700 air filter

Does anyone know if this will fit a M998 6.2 or 6.5L engine, its the filter off a 6.5 H1 1993 and up model.

It should but thats a lot of money for very little gain. I've never had to change my filter yet I just watch the restriction guage.

I like that it is reusable. And **** gets dirty in sand real fast

Eh for the money you paid you could have 2-4 regual filters and if you're driving on roads normally you will have filters to last for life.

Most of the diesel truck guys on other forums stay away from K&N, due to they don't filter as well as stock or AFE or some others.
They flow good because they don't filter as well.
Not so critical on Gassers.

Allot of the Deutsch import crowd stays away from them as well. You'll have to oil the k n as well. In the tm they have a section on how to clean the filter...
