LED Lights on a 5 Ton - Drop In? Or more to it?

Saw these and am wondering if these are a drop-in replacement or if there is more to it. Would like an unbiased opinion as opposed to the opinion of someone trying to make a sale. Does anyone have any experience with these?:

- Sorry about that. Here is the PN info to which my question pertains:

Truck-Lite Front LED Composite Lamps
NSN# 6220-01-482-6107
Truck-Lite Part Number 07412

Truck-Lite Rear LED Composite Lamps
NSN# 6220-01-482-6105
Truck-Lite Part Number 07411

I searched through the threads and I read of different issues like turn signals not blinking after LED installs. Looks like these are made specifically as replacements, but wanted to know if someone out here has these specific models actually installed and working and what they had to do. Simply a swap out to get these to work right? Also, there isn't much info on pricing out there that I could find. What is a good deal / reasonable price to pay for these?

Thanks.

Although I have a M35A2 bobber I did have to eventually swap out my flasher unit to an aftermarket one. I have LED headlights, taillights and front turn signals. Sometimes my blinkers would work, other times they wouldn't. I checked all of my grounds as well as all of the 24v connections. Wasn't temperature dependent either.

After I installed a Grote 44010 solid state flasher unit I haven't had a SINGLE issue with my turn signals.

Thanks! Raises a few more questions:

Do you have the Grote LED lights or the Truck-Lite (or something else)?
Is needing to replace the flasher true of all different makes or only specific makes?
Is there just one flasher for the whole truck, or one per light?
Are there differences between the makes of these LED lights or are these basically all the same?

I have all Truck-Lite LED lights.

I think I needed to replace the factory M35A2 flasher because it had reached the end of its life.

The M35A2 has one flasher module on the driver side of the firewall in the engine bay.

The different LED lights out there have mainly cosmetic differences. I can't speak for the differences between headlights, but I love my Truck-Lite headlights. JW Speaker makes some newer ones, but don't know how the spread looks. Turn signals are turn signals. Rear taillights are basically the same with a few different shapes of the LEDs.

After spending time cutting out the wiring going to the flasher and pulling the flashers from 40+ trucks about a 1/3 of them had been upgraded to the newer box that will work with all LED's. Just look at yours and if it's about the size of a box of kitchen matches it may need replaced or diode added. If the flasher box is about the size of a box of pocket matches you should be good to go. BTW it's in the cab on the fire wall just above the pedals.

If the flasher has heatsinks it is electronic. If it is a metal box then it is not and will most likely need to be swapped.

I've had both Trucklite and Grote. I currently run Grote for everything except the headlights but it's personal preference. I've converted everything to LED and dealt with most of the issues that can arise.

Do yourself a favor if going with LEDs in the turn signals and get an LED bulb to replace the one behind the green lens on the blinker switch. You'll save yourself some headache later.

There's a lot of useful information in this thread:

If you run into issues, post them up. The headlights should be pretty straight forward. The newest JW Speaker headlights are bad assery at its finest. They'll put everything else to shame as far as useful amount of light where you need it. The appearance can be tough to swallow for some though. There are several Youtube videos that do bench and driving comparisons between the different manufactures.
