Hi all. Can anybody recommend a source , part no., etc for getting a replacement ether bottle for my m925a2? I did not see the part on the part interchange spreadsheet. Can these bottles be recharged, if expensive new? Thanks!

Most heavy truck parts stores , some truck stops , maybe your local Napa . $40-$50 range it seems since they added the haz-mat fees to shipping on them. No refill on them . Part # should be on your old bottle , there are different sizes and threads used . I just replaced the bottle on my backhoe , it was $47.

Thanks to both y'all Are you a vendor in Kingsville, Ohio? It would be nice to have a "neighbor" an hour away for parts!

You're probably right, but I had always thought "they" deliberately made them expensive to discourage people from buying the canisters to huff the pure ether contained within...

Jon
They used to be $14 + tax a our local Case equipment dealer but they quit carrying them after they started the haz-mat shipping fees on them.

I've been biting my tongue, but now I'm going stupid on this.

The bottle is identical to the bottles on propane stoves, would they work? Has anyone done that? What would be bad about it?

Any hints? I just spent 15 min when I should be working and only found guys talking about using propane for fuel.

You must be better at searching than I.
ether bottle - ouch

I have a Kawasaki generator which is gas/propane and when it gets cold you have to start it on gas then switch to propane or it won't start .

There is a guy on ebay selling a pallet of 297 of them for $700.00. If it was local to me I would have bought it by now, lol.
