M1028 Parking and Tail Lights

So I have read through some of the Helpful Stickies, and am new to searching the forums. I am not having luck finding possible causes for my parking and tail lights not working on my M1028.

I have functional blinkers, break lights, back up lights, headlights, high beams, and blackout lights. No parking lights and no tail lights. Does anyone have an idea or something I could read to figure this out? I have not replaced all the bulbs, as is hard for me to believe that they would fail "symmetrically" like that.

I have read through the Sticky about the headlight circuit...I am hoping someone has either had this specific issue, or knows where I could find the problem.

Thank you!

Check the park/marker light fuse in the fuse box. If it is blown there will be no park/marker or tail lights.

Checking the bulbs is the first place to start . The switch to see if power is flowing through it . Clean all the grounds . With electrical problems you have to eliminate possible problems to find the actual problem . It could be corrosion in a plug or a broken wire . You need to get a multi-meter and test light and see where you have power , it could be as simple as corrosion in the sockets . I would check the bulbs first and test the sockets , then test the switch . If there is no power at the sockets but power coming out of the switch you need to trace the wires from the switch and clean a the connections and test each plug to see where the power stops .

Check the wire that runs along the drivers side frame flange. Pay attention at each area that some comes close to the wiring. I have seen it cut all the way up under the hood at the brake reinforcement on the firewall. I also seen the blue scotch blocks hacked into the wiring and removed after time causing a big green corroded off wire. The sky's the limit. Trace wiring and look closely.

Gunzy, thank you...it was the stupid fuse...I hadn't checked them after the first time I did which was before all this light work. Simple is usually right!!! She goes in for inspection tomorrow, I'm super excited!
