Exactly. Fast air up of the truck. The truck becomes the tool. Great for T/shooting maintenance issues w/o the truck idling.The way the fitting is looks like air in only as your hose would be backwards for tools and such.
Hard to say for sure, but I think its probably the safety pop off valve.What I want to know is what that other part is it looks like a vent off of an axle. View attachment 614309
The military strives for complexity.Why not use the emergency gladhand on the front or rear? I've aired up via the front gladhand without running the engine. Seems simpler that adding more fittings and additional plumbing.
