Which way does the jackshaft turn?

When the transmission is in a forward gear, which way does the jackshaft turn?

Trying to figure out which way to turn it so that I'm turning the engine the direction it goes in when it's running.

Trying to figure out which way to turn it so that I'm turning the engine the direction it goes in when it's running.

Looking at the back of the engine, the shaft will turn clockwise.
