Cold advance coolant temp switch pigtail

Searched TM's and also found a ton of threads and info for the switch itself.
Have a new ACDelco one on the way.

What I'm needing is a new pigtail for it.
I can't seem to fine the pigtail part info and didn't see it listed in the TM's. Found the switch itself just fine..

Anyone have any info for a replacement pigtail for this switch?

This is for the two prong Cold Advance coolant temp switch (acdelco P/N 10154649) on the passenger side, below head in the rear.

Are you replacing a damaged pigtail? Otherwise the new sensor doesn't require a new pigtail.

Yes

Mine looks like it's been twisted around several times
It works, but wires are frayed and coming out of plug.

I don't think so
It should be one kinda like the alternator plug pigtail, but Vertical slots instead of horizontal. Simple and doesn't have the gasket seal.

Or just put 2 female spades on it and call it a day. Works out the same. But that is a common GM plug on the older vehicles.

The two spades idea was already suggested and I will do that as a last resort.
Really prefer the intended one. Striking out so far.

I agree that it's a common plug
So common I can't find one and or even a part number.

Must it be brand new? No used parts accepted? I know I have a few hacked up engine wiring harnesses laying around. I changed a few wiring harnesses over the years that were redesigned and destroyed. Nice job man. I always ask where they learned to cut wires like that? They seem to think they were just extra ones that GM had laying around and decided to just throw them under the hood of the CUCV's.

I was a nice guy and I removed the entire
Cold advance coolant temp switch pigtail up to the first butt connector in the wiring harness.

I guess since it could be defective. It could have an internal short or the wire could be aged and brittle. You never know. Maybe it needs the LMC
Cold advance coolant temp switch pigtail upgrade. Do they make one? Well since I can't warrant it in any way shape or form. Would you like to have it? You can follow the tan/black wire to the first butt joint and go from there. No warranty Expressed or implied. Clear enough? 32 year old M1009 salvage part.
