Dropside bed

Where are all the dropside beds? My deuce has the "C" but no dropside and all I've seen is 5 Ton beds. I understand why they took the bed off my deuce since they had a water tank in the bed for the fire department.

I recall that I heard the dropsides comprised somewhere near 10% of the production. Hope that observation helps you in some way.....

I rarely see ads for deuce beds any longer. Must be M939 and Humvee season.

I have a bed off an M1078 that should fit nicely....

I have TWO of the drop-sides, but no bed, headboard nor tailgate. Not sure if I'll ever sell them or just continue collecting parts for an entire bed.

They make handy ramps for light loads... kinda steep for a 4' high deuce bed but great for a utility trailer, m105 or other lower load height.

I have one on the back of my Deuce & it is great to be able to load it with a forklift! 10% of production were dropsides, guess I got lucky again!
