24 bolt wheels Help

I have a set of 24 bolt wheels and need to replace the o-rings and a few studs.
I can find the parts for the old 8 bolt and 12 bolt wheels but not the 24.
Maybe they're the same but I didn't think so.

So I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with these or has the updated TM or parts manual for them. I have searched and can't find the right one.

Any info would be appreciated.

I do need a few, are they the same as the 12 bolt rims?

They are not the same as the real old style...they are skinnier and red. I got mine through a civilian H1 parts dealer.

^^^Mentions the new flat lip type seal. I used the red civilian o-ring and it sealed fine.

I have several of the new red rings and the older black ones. I used the red ones on my 24's.

Mine have the red ones. There was 1 left in the rim. They are skinnier than the old style.

I'm also looking for replacement studs and another 24 bolt rim for a spare, the equidistant kind.

Jwaller, let me know what you want for some o-rings.

Ran across some old notes I thought I'd post. Seeing more of these rims around.
24 bolt wheel, equidistant studs
Nsn 2530-01-558-3027 wheel, inner
Red o-ring pn: 12460338 nsn: 5331-01-417-1043
Inner rim bolt: 12342758 1/2"-20 x2.12
I have a bunch of the nuts left over that fit these if anyone needs some.
Other part #'s found in the TM9-2320-280-24p
These are found on the m1151a1 m1114 and other up armored hmmwv, currently used.

Piggybacking on this thread. I've got bunch of 24 bolt rims I need to put together. Looking for a place to buy bulk.

I happened across this thread on Pirate talking about 8 & 12 bolt rims.

They mention marcorubber.com and using buna -457 & -458 but seems those aren't the exact size for the latter 12 bolt and 24 bolt rims.

Does anybody know the inner and outer diameter's of the o-rings for the 24bolt wheels?

3/16 diameter, about 46.5 inches long. I used them when I put my uneven pattern 24 bolt wheels together and they are working great, no leaks and its been months.

I updated my original post. The 46.5 is from marking the ring with a sharpie and measuring how long it was going around, it gives about a 15" circumference. From looking on McMaster it looks like they might be dash number 384 high temp silicone orings.

A 16.5" circle has a cicumference of about 51.8". The o-ring is smaller than the rim, so 46.5" seems about right. He is saying that if the o-ring is cut and put in a line, it will 46.5" long.

After not getting any response in that 24 bolt torque spec thread, I got in touch with another SS member I know who has access to the up-to-date TM 9-2320-387-24-1 and he was kind enough to send me a PDF of the scanned section in question. Should have the info you need.

Why would you use high temp silicone, rather than the same as most other military wheel o-rings, Buna N and 70 Durometer?

No idea if the military ones are silicone or not, I just noticed McMaster said their high-temp silicone ones are red and the military ones are also red.

I haven't taken a HMMWV wheel apart, only the 5 ton combat, MRAP and the A3 deuce. Just wondering why using a high temp.
