Thanks everyone. Good to see you guys.

Our group had a good run. Three trail fixes to five tons got us moving again - a shift linkage, a contaminated fuel system and a flat tire.

I didn't take to many pictures this time and look forward to seeing what everyone else has.

Thanks again,
Cheers

It was another great day of wheeling. Did anyone get a total count of how many trucks actually made it out on the trails? These were the only pics that I took this year. I have a few good videos of the mudhole but dont know how to post them. Our group hit some hard and tight trails (for the 5 tons) and the only breakdown was a ruptured radiator hose on the 998 at the end of the day. Thanks to everyone for making it a great get together. I only wish I could've stayed at least one night to get to meet everyone in the other groups that went out. thanks to Shenkman for setting the date!

Had a great time despite the weather, no issues and might join group "B" next time! Here is a link to photobucket with the pictures my daughter took. Also have gopro video from inside and outside of my truck. Like 20 short clips..need to figure out what/how to post but will do.
You all hit the height of the fall color season; it makes for some great shots!

Yes and I had the heat on in Terminus M1009 all day. That is a good feeling when it's cold and you are splashing thru the mud holes and off - roading and you can do it with the window down and still be comfy inside. Wheeling on snow and ice covered trails is not very fun at all. I am not a fan of deep water anymore either. But either way the heat is nice. my Son has a new off road truck that will have A/C in it. That will e nice also. But my XM radio is still a don't leave home without it item. The Terminus M1009 was creaking like a battleship under way. Wonder why?

So all of us that wheel our trucks are idiots and should not own MV's. Well that's what one guy from Wi says. It apparently pisses him off that we use our trucks for something other than a show truck.
I always said if I am getting haters it must be because they are jealous and can not stand to see me having fun that they are to boring to have in the first place. So I guess we are all doing something right. These trucks are not museum pieces. We are using them for what they were built and intended for. Surviving under harsh and unusual terrain and conditions. So let them be Haters. I Love haters. Have a great day and live everyone like it is your last one. Because it may be.

Sorry for not posting any photos up. Been busy fixing truck and getting ready for the Veterans Day parade. Hey, if anyone wants a good time with their military vehicles, try joining the MTA out for the NYC parade. Anyone is welcome and we get police escorted convoy through the Lincoln Tunnel, it's pretty awesome.

But anyway, I ripped the shock mount off my rear axle.

Had to weld that baby back in.

And that Toyota pickup at the end of our convoy that stopped running and we had to push off the trail and come back for later, was just a wire that came out of the connector for the distributor. Easy fix, oh well. Will try to get the rest of the wheeling photos up tomorrow.

Who is already to go wheeling again? I drove by Rausch Creek yesterday and I thought yea that will be soon. Lets all get some planning done. Or just one more person that wants to do some wheeling. You only need 2 vehicles to go out. I am getting ready. What am I talking about. I am ready. Terminus is always ready to go wheeling. Check the oil and it is good to go. I know someone wants to go. Just want to give a heads up. Soon. Take care. Stay warm. And on a quiet winter night I can hear the CUCV's rusting.
