Howdy,
I would also look into finding a local NAPA store. NAPA list 6,000 stores across the USA. I am sure there is something nearby.

Does anyone have a part number for the actual secondary fuel filter housing? I am getting a leak from the bottom bolt/rubber gasket and need to either replace the housing or that gasket. Thanks in advance.

You need to get a new gasket, (actually its an "O" ring). The housing is not the problem. The housing would be about 1000% more expensive then the "O" ring you need.

The part number for the "O" rings is: 186-6279-03, NSN is: No NSN.

The "O" ring is part of kit: part number: 393331, NSN is: 01-139-4010. The cost to the army is $18.00. its the whole filter housing.

Or Kit, part number: 7961121, NSN: 00-099-5467. Cost to the army is: $3,32. Its just the filter and gaskets needed to seal up the filter housing.

The last listed NSN was perhaps the easiest to get. Plug the NSNs into your browser and see what you come up with.

If you would download the TM's from the TM section here in SS, you could have also found this info. Or look at past threads. Mayhap that DAYBREAK has is in one of his threads/lists.

Awesome reference guide for these filters! I noticed a typo in the original post while pricing things out. The correct Baldwin air filter number is PA1690FN, not PA1960FN.

Howdy,
Good catch. I have a great NAPA nearby, so I have not needed the other manufacturer filters.

I was comparison shopping all the brands locally and online today, which was the only reason I found that typo. For oil, air and both fuel filters, the cheapest option ended up being Baldwin filters from Grainger. Even with tax and shipping it was still a few dollars less than Amazon, and almost $30 less than buying Wix at Napa.

Napa carries Baldwin filters as well, and their prices would have significantly beat Grainger's since I wouldn't have to pay shipping, but they didn't stock any of the correct ones and the guy said that they only do a Baldwin order every couple weeks, so that option was out.

It's a lot of work being a tight-wad... lol

A better idea would be, for you to send me your money. I would of course hold on to it for you. For free! I would not charge you a thing! Nice guy that I am.

Feel free to contact me in New Zealand, whenever you need your money!
