Help? does anyone know what the Tan pin-on metal attachments on this crane is?
they are thin metal, not armor, and come off with pins.

If you are asking about the devices attached to the cab, those are CIPs or Combat Identification Panels, used to give vehicles a recognizable infrared pattern for IFF (identification friend foe) purposes.

found the tech info on them, interesting that they started out being used in the gulf. Thanks for the quick reply.

Make sure you get all the brackets and the pins. It's not just the panels.
