Park it in a garage then the 939 will be dry lol.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
This on top of getting some assurance about being able to upgrade plumbing and electrical as needed pretty much seals it.Yes lmtv is rain tight good heat great window defrost.
Thanks Doug. Any info you want to share on top of all this is certainly welcome.LMTV is a airdrop vehicle , a M900 series truck is not. There are many pros on the M900 series trucks, hardly any cons. I own both , and I don't mind sharing.
Thanks I do like them both and would always rather have a Cummins but if the cabs leak on the 5 ton it's a deal breaker.Even if the LMTV was flawless, it's still ugly as ever.
The M939 5 tons at least "look" like a real truck.
Both have pros and cons.
Both have their own maintenance issues.
It's personal preference.
Some guys like the LMTV only
Some like the M939 series only
Some like both, or even neither
Excellent insight has been posted on both trucks.
You can compare these trucks to death.
It all boils down to which one you "like" more. Plain and simple
They both look good to me.And by the way neither of my trucks are butt ugly, welll maybe the tan one but she will be looking good once she has some better makeup on lol.
I prefer to use the term "hydrate", as opposed to "leak". Hydration keeps the skin soft and minimizes the effects of aging. It's the military version of the fountain of youth. If your thirsty during a rainstorm, just sit straight up in the seat and fresh, rejuvenating rainwater will be aimed perfectly at your mouth for refreshment while driving. It helps to maintain posture as well. Slouch...and you'll find be punished with an eye full of water. It's a well known fact that the M939 windshield hinge is the source of this abundance of health in liquid form.but if the cabs leak on the 5 ton it's a deal breaker.
Its for washing the floor boards out so you dont have to vacuum. The windshields always leak even siliconed shut those inside corners have some special talent for letting water in.Thanks I do like them both and would always rather have a Cummins but if the cabs leak on the 5 ton it's a deal breaker.
