Haven't used trailers for a bit.

So today, Loaded down the green one with new washer and dryer.
Chance of rain next few days and the tarp worked perfectly.

Wife loved the fact that you can remove the bows, load trailer, reinstall bows and tarp and her brand new W/D are not affected by weather.

The tie down d-rings I installed worked great!!

Just about finished with the camper. The idea was to keep it looking like a regular trailer from the outside. The generator cover has been painted green.
Got to see this in person today as the RT66 convoy stopped close by.
Looks even better in person!
Great layout and attention to detail.
Wife saw it also and was equally impressed.

Now if I could just get him to make me one........hmmmmm!!

Had to install a bolt in the surge brake lockout hole.
Haven't received new surge shock yet and needed to use trailer today.

3/8” x 4” Grade 8 bolt and nylon locknut. Longer than needed but worked.

Definitely a difference in stopping without trailer brakes.

I reckon I have a new thread to crash now. Simp delivered this last week. Since I name all my toys, she will be called Lucky Strike. She's a M322 EET trailer made by Holden Industries Model # MTO20.

That is a cool trailer! I have wanted one since I drooled over them in my son's motor pool on Camp Pendleton.

Finally installed NOS fiberglass sides and gate. Definitely lighter than the wood.
Trailer came with one fiberglass gate when I bought it.

Second one is for the front gate modification.
Did same thing on my tan M101A2 and it’s extremely handy to have a front gate, in addition to the back gate.

Will drill holes for the gate pins tomorrow.
Ran out of time today.

They were a little dirty from sitting outside so trailer get power washed tomorrow.

Edit: This is what it looked like when I bought it from GP.

What are the extra bolts on the side for? I like the size of the tires

The trailer had a ton of different racks mounted on the bed and sides of the inside.
So once all these were off, it left a LOT of holes. Way to many for rain and dirt to find its way inside.
Debated on just welding them up, but maybe someday might need them.

So instead of welding up over 100 factory punched holes, I just installed new bolts.
The ones in the floor I used rivets.
Worked like a champ. More expensive than welding, but a WHOLE lot easier.
Normally the camo tarp is on it and you can’t see them.

Tires are Michelin 265/75R16
Older ones from a set I took off my truck when I bought new set.
Not very “rugged” looking but the price was right.

Stock axle and factory NOS CUCV wheels. Wheels were still in box

Michelin E Rated tires 265-75R16
Take offs from my truck when I installed a new set.
Little wider and shorter but they work just fine.
