Brake Air Compressor Brand Reccomendation?

HiYa Folks,
I am looking for another pice of the puzzle, a brake air compressor for my M135 that I am swapping a Cummins 6B into, and have come looking for answers/recommendations.

1. Is there one brand that is better than others?
2. Does anyone have any medium duty truck salvage yard they can recommend?
3. And why won't any of the people will ship the $50.00 compressors on Craigslist (even though they say they will? (Just an FYI bendix weighs 46-48lbs (depending on which Bendix sheet you look at) and is roughly $97.00 east of the Mississippi river, and $50.00 wet of it)

Get the cummins compressor will bolt right into the accessory drive flange.

Bendix Truflow 500 is a good one and will also mount to the cummins 5.9L
Wabsco (think that is how it is spelt) is the one used by cummins.
I believe both models have options for having the power steering pump piggy backed.
This is a good option to have if you are looking to do a powersteering upgrade.
I have been searching for forever for a Bendix tru flo 500 with piggy back.
Wish they were as cheap here in Canada as down there. A rebuild or take out run around the three hundred mark.

I was leaning toward the Bendix..just can not find one at a good price can find brand new Bendix tf550 and 750s for under 300.00 but for the 6bt 300 for one needing a rebuild. I hope someone in OD Land has a lead for me!

use the "make an offer" option on ebay. I had bought a TF550 for $175 shipped not long ago, they were asking $500. A lot of sellers including myself acquire items very inexpensively if not free, and then try to sell them for what they should be worth. Many times items are hard to sell because they are unique and have a limited demand, even though original price of them is very high.
