That gauge means nothing until you have learned what your specific set will put out. Just by what that heat gun showed on the gauge should tell you that the gauge is not correct.
How long have you ran the set?
Thanks for the reply. Didn't realize that the gauge could be incorrect. But I understand what you are saying. I have only run the unit for maybe an hour. I have read here to get a load on it right away and let it run for a while. I had hoped the space heater would have done the trick. But now that it is even tripping the overload, I need to get that sorted out. Will start with the terminal strip and make sure those connections are 100% before doing anything else.
Are you sure the oil pressure gauge is wrong? Thats a bad gauge to guess on.
Well, when it is off and it is at 50lb, and when it starts it is at 50lb, I am going to assume it is bad. I have taken it out and tried to disassemble it. Lot's of debris inside it and the needle jumps around. I will be connecting a mechanical gauge to verify what the pressure is.
There are many small and many large issues that can cause a set to be underpowered. There are many threads about those issues. One simple one that comes to mind is the air filter.

I checked the air filter specifically and it is brand new.

I don't think you are supposed to run a full load off the convenience outlet. I know you can't do that with my MEP 701A. You have to wire it off of the lugs directly with a junction box of some sort.

Yeah the front outlet is only rated for 10A. You run over that, and it will definitely drop out on you.

You mean I cant use a jumper wire to pick up 240 off the two front outlets?

I did hook up to the high voltage lugs!! Was just running my small heat gun off the conv. outlet to get some more juice out of it
