Has anyone rebuilt the wiper motors? (M54A1)

I tried using them today and the manual lever inside would go back and forth but the blade hardly moved. Are they rebuildable or am I better off buying some?

Try getting some air tool oil and feed that to them. Otherwise get new.

I’ll check that also! That sounds like a real good reason why the inside manual control goes through the motion but the wiper doesn’t. Thanks!

Ok that splined nut at the end of the arm (at least that’s what’s on my vehicle) was loose on both motors! Tightened them up and they’re working now. Kind of. The drivers side wipes good, the passenger side might need some oil. I don’t have any so I’ll have to get some after work tomorrow.

My next problem is the wipers won’t stop running now until the pressure bleeds off haha I’m gonna try pulling the controller off and giving it a cleaning followed by some lube. Something is sticking in there and I can feel it “pop” when I back down to try and turn them off.
