April 27 & 28, 2019: MTA Military Vehicle Show & Swap Meet (Augusta, NJ)

The Military Transport Association Military Vehicle Show & Swap Meet is all set for April 27 & 28 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds, Augusta, New Jersey (07826).

Make your plans to come on out to spectacular North West New Jersey (we know, a seeming oxymoron, but it really is beautiful) at the end of April for the annual MTA Show & Swap Meet. We have over 75 vendors and typically get over 100 vehicles at the show. This show runs the gamut from WW2 to modern day with jeeps, tanks, halftracks, mules, heavy iron, apc's and more. We had a 14 unit Mule train in 2017!

1. Bring and display your military vehicle and admission is free (you can also have it judged for free).
2. Active military in uniform FREE.
3. $7 admission/$5 for Veterans

We will have living history displays, judging of vehicles, lots of vendors with everything from vehicle parts to militaria, radio gear, dog tags and more. There really is something for everyone.

Sorry folks, I seriously doubt I will make it to the show.

HOWEVER, I will be in Harrisburg about 2 weeks before the show. If anyone has anything they want from me, let me know. I have no doubt we would be able to find someone to move items that short distance.

If someone needs something moved from TX, see my thread on the transportation forum. 20' trailer but not wide enough for a HMMWV.

m35 gasser radiator, NOS m54a2 multifuel radiator, NOS m35a2 radiator, 20mm ammo cans, tow bar chain clamps, m275 tractor deckplates, hmmwv 2 man cargo covers, cucv pickup cargo covers, m939 battery relocation box (just the box), .50 cal cradle, m105 wood rack set, m211 GMC PTO, decon bottles, radio bases, 20ft 5 ton cargo covers (camo vinyl), 5 ton front springs, m35 gasser fenders, and most of the other stuff I'm selling in the classifieds.

I'm looking for one side rack for an m36 long bed truck(junk wood preferred), and a set of fiberglass side racks for an m101 (or someone to bring a set from Gimpyrobb or ZiggyO).

Is anyone showing up from the Akron, OH area that has room for a few LWS legs on the way home? An SS member wants the ones I have but won't be able to attend.
